We had a fantastic day at the BIDM. The day was hot but beautifully sunny and all the stalls looked fantastic. The crowds were great and we'd like to thank all our customers, we hope you enjoy your purchases.
I'd like to thank Beckybean for the fantastic bag I'll be getting for Christmas. Ruby2GoGo for a beautiful necklace. And finally Denimdays for a too cute bookmark.
We are closing the Etsy store for a bit as the craziness of Christmas comes rushing towards us.
Merry Christmas to all and see you next year.

The Day Before.....
It's almost like the night before Christmas...
We've sewn, we've crocheted, we've labelled and we've ironed we are ready for the BrisStyle Indie Designers Market tomorrow (St Augustines' Church, Racecourse Road, Ascot. 9am - 4pm).
It's so exciting. I can't wait to see what everyone else has. I am hopping to do lots of Christmas shopping (not all for me).
We are going to have a jam packed stall full of great goodies.
Here's one last teaser of what we will have tomorrow.
See you there.

December BIDM here we come!
It's been awhile since the last post. Things have been busy busy busy. Our next market - BrisStyle Indie Designers Market - December 5 is fast approaching - only 4 weeks away.
Everyone has been busy gearing for what should be a great day.
Marie has been busy with a summery cutest skirts.

She has also branched and made some boys shorts too. As a mother of a boy I love getting new and interesting shorts made by my mum (and so does my son!).
Melissa has made some more of her fabulous hats.

This one has been made with a beautiful vintage fabric. You would definitely get noticed wearing this. Melissa has also been busy making cards and toys and bibs.
I have finally found a little bit of time each night to get in some crocheting and have made my first cosy. Sometimes when you buy a ball of wall it doesn't always look the same made up and in this case I think it worked out even better.
My son looked at this and said "it's a hat for the teapot" so from now on they will be known as the "Teapot Hats". The perfect thing to keep your teapot cosy.

We've also been making some changes behind the scenes getting a logo designed and a slight name change.
I am hoping to launch the new look and name soon. Stay Tuned!

A Day at the Markets and New Lisitngs
Well it's been a big weekend!
Had a fantastic day at the Racecourse Road Markets on Sunday. Met lots of other BrisStyle ladies and got to see all their wares close up. All sooo good.
The markets weren't as big as predicted but still heaps of people strolled by and looked at all the co-op goodies. We even sold a few things. It was a bloody hot day and the perfect day to enjoy the best dark chocolate icecream I have ever tasted.
I managed to buy some very nice things from other BrisStylers.
On another note I have now listed our fantastic new card range made by Melissa.

Perfect for any occasion.

The Bibs are Back

Every now and again I find a stunning tea towel with spectacular 1970's graphics and colour combo so bright it makes your eye hurt (in a good way).
After much deliberation I finally decided a bib needed to be made out of it. Mums with messy babies really need stuff that the mum really likes - after all it's usually her that has to wash and use the stuff. I hope this bib goes to a great mum. I really had fun making it.

Finally got a blog organised where we can preview our new works.
Melissa has lots of new things and once I get them photographed I will put them up.
I have lots of things in my head and hoping to get them out soon.
